Quality of Care
"Please accept my sincerest thank
you for the tremendous care you extended to my mother
during her time at Prairie Home. The support and love
that was extended to my mother and the rest of my family
was so wonderful. The staff’s eagerness to accommodate
the needs of my mother is certainly a rarity and something
that meant the world to her and my brothers and sisters.
I know the Lord truly directed my
path and answred prayer the day we placed Mother at
Prairie Home. I also want to share with you that I have
received several compliments from medical professionals
regarding the care they observed being extended to mother.
These comments came from nurses with ThedaCare Hospice
as well as others that came to assist with her care.
We will be forever grateful for you and your staff."—Lynn

Helpful
Attitudes
"As power of attorney for
resident Rose it is our responsiblity to ensure Rose's
needs are being adequately met. We are most confident
of the care and attention Rose receives at Prairie Home.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and most willing
to help. On a number of occasions, we have witnessed
them going our of their way to accommodate Rose. Whether
it be a special meal request in the dining room to transporting
her to a Dr. appointment when we were not available,
the staff and owner are most helpful. We know that often
it's the little things that mean a lot. It makes us
very thankful of their helpful attitude,
Taking on the responsiblity of caring for
the elderly is no small task. We are grateful for the
special attention Rose receives at Prairie Home. We
would highly recommend Prairie Home to any family member
who has the dificult task of placing a loved on in an
assisted living home."—Patrick and

"My mom has been at Prarie Home for
seven years and she is very happy there. I am happy
having her there as well. My mom has only good things
to say about the food, and there is certainly enough
of it. I appreciate the individualized "care plans",
where the activity needed by the resident is listed
and initialed each day when it is completed. My mom's
therapy exercises are all listed by day and time and
both she and I see improvement in her left hand as a
result. I
also appreciate the staff giving her the meds she neds
each day, so we don't have to worry if she's remembered
to take them or the right ones at the right time. The
staff has always invited me to stay if there is an activity
going on, and for meals if I should be there. The special
seasons of the year are recognized and the residents
participate in making something around that theme has
been good for them. They all seem to be part of a "family"
which I find comforting. I know my mom is well taken
care of. I can only say good things about Prairie Home."—Sandi
